Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday I’ll add to the list, so check back often to see who made the cut!
And without further ado, the most talked about brands of 2011 are:
Verizon Wireless
When Apple debuted the original iphone in June 2007 AT&T was the sole carrier of the new device, so they were able to attach themselves to the buzz surrounding the new device, and leaving Verizon in the dust. But that was 2007, and this is 2001, and after years of speculation to when the iphone would finally arrive at Verizon the waiting came to an end. On January 11, 2011 it was made official. The exclusive partnership between AT&T and Apple was coming to an end, and that Verizon would now be an official iphone carrier. (cue: technological hysteria) The highly anticipated announcement put Verizon into the forefront of millions of American’s conversations; Verizon customers were all abuzz about joining the iphone carrying crowd, and AT&T customers were suddenly faced with the possibility of jumping ship to join a more reliable network without losing their precious iphone.
